Privacy

Wakagi is run by Martijn Scheffer, who is responsible for what is described here. Questions, and every request below, go to admin@wakagi.dev.

What we keep

• Your email address, to sign you in and to write to you about your account.
• Your projects: the tasks, their plans, the names of your files and folders, and the conversations you opened on a task.
• The links you made for your AI and for others, stored so that they cannot be read back from the database alone.
• A sign-in code while it is valid, for 10 minutes, stored scrambled.
• Your session, one cookie that keeps you signed in for 30 days, stored scrambled on our side.
• If you subscribe: the numbers Paddle gives your customer account and your subscription, and whether it is paid.

What we never keep

• The content of your files. Wakagi knows their names only.
• Your sessions with your AI, except the conversation you opened on a task, and only while it is open.
• Your card or bank details. Those go to Paddle, never through Wakagi.

There is no advertising, no tracking and no analytics. The only cookie is the one that keeps you signed in. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shown to anyone you did not give a link to.

Who else is involved

• Cloudflare runs the site and stores the data.
• Migadu sends the emails with your sign-in codes.
• Paddle takes the payments, as the seller of the subscription. What Paddle keeps is described in Paddle's privacy notice.

How long

Everything stays as long as your account does. We never delete your projects on our own, not even when the trial ends or a subscription stops. When you ask us to delete your account, everything in it is gone within 30 days, the time our backups last.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of everything we keep about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Write to us and it is done within a month. If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can also complain to the data protection authority of your country.

If this changes in a way that matters to you, you hear it by email before it applies.
