Terms

Who we are

Wakagi, at wakagi.dev, is run by Martijn Scheffer, as an individual. You can reach us at admin@wakagi.dev.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Your account

You sign in with your email address and a code sent to it. Whoever can read that mailbox can sign in as you, so keep it safe. An account is for one person.

The trial

A new account can use everything in Wakagi for 14 days, for free, with no card. After those 14 days your projects can still be read, but not changed, until you subscribe. Nothing is deleted when the trial ends.

The subscription

The subscription is paid monthly, in advance, and renews by itself each month until you cancel it. You can cancel at any moment; you keep everything until the end of the month you paid for, and after that your projects can be read but not changed, as after the trial.

If the price changes, you hear it by email at least 30 days before it applies to you.

Refunds are described on the refunds page.

What you put in Wakagi

Your projects are yours: the tasks, the plans, the conversations and the names of your files. We keep them only to show them to you, to your AI, and to whoever you give a link to. We do not claim them, and we do not use them for anything else.

A link you make gives whoever holds it what you chose: seeing the tree, reading the tasks, or changing them. You decide who gets a link, and you can take it back at any moment.

What you may not do

Ending

You can stop using Wakagi whenever you like. Ask us, and we delete your account and everything in it.

If an account breaks these terms, we may close it. Except where the law or someone's safety requires otherwise, we tell you first and give you the chance to take your projects with you.

What we promise, and what we cannot

We do our best to keep Wakagi running and your projects safe. It is stored with Cloudflare and can be brought back to any moment of the past 30 days. Still, no site is up all the time, and we cannot promise that it never stops or never makes a mistake.

As far as the law allows, our responsibility for any loss is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here takes away rights that the law of your country gives you as a consumer.

Changes to these terms
